Amphibians and Reptiles of North Dakota

Welcome to the Amphibians and Reptiles of North Dakota webpage. This page is a collaboration between North Dakota State University, North Dakota Game and Fish, Bell Museum, and HerpMapper for the purpose of:

  1. Increasing citizen participation in amphibian and reptile data collection throughout North Dakota;
  2. Tracking species sightings across time and space; and
  3. Centralizing and disseminating citizen-generated data for use by conservation and research organizations.

In addition to these objectives, the Amphibians and Reptiles of North Dakota website serves as a source of information on North Dakota's amphibians, reptiles, and their distribution in the state. Contact us with questions.
